Rolled 2 (double ones) Chance: Read a mystery

The Caller - Chris Carter

A little stilted in places, and a bit gory, but a good read with at least one false trail.  It wasn't a very long trail, but it was interesting.

I've read 2%- not an epic start

The Caller - Chris Carter

Hopefully this gets better - I'm already irritated with the MC.  LOL

She has to answer 2 questions correctly.  Second question is what is her best friends cell phone number?  Correct answer would be I don't know.  Who memorizes phone numbers other than the house/main phone? And it takes me years to memorize that.  I never even had a boyfriends number memorized. I always have phone numbers written down.

After misreading the rules... (thank you Moonlight) : )

Sent to Go by The Wheel,  roll again:  2  (double 1's)

Chance: Who? Read a mystery or detective story or a book with the word "who" in the title.

Doubles, roll again:  5

7. Read a book that has a house on the cover, or that is related to something unique about your community (for example, if your community has a strawberry festival, read a book with strawberries on the cover).

Wheel Decide

Apparently it's the link in my last post.  Worked fine from the doc I saved.  Who knows.

Memorial Day Rolls: Roll 2

The Room in the Dragon Volant - Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu

16. Read a book that is a mystery or suspense, or which has a title that contains all of the letters in the word C-A-B-I-N.

I did think it was ever going to get to the mystery part, though I did figure out early on she was scamming him.

Still working through the Memorial Day bonus rolls

The Postman - David Brin

I rolled doubles, roll again: 3

Visiting Jail

If you are just visiting: read enough pages to donate $3.00 to the bail fund

Read 201 to 400 pages: $3.00

I may have to watch the movie again.  I'm not sure which I like better.  The book does go more into WHY he did it and how it made him feel.

I'm so far behind. Booklikes-opoly

The Bear and the Nightingale - Katherine Arden

Memorial Day Rolls: Roll 1: 2 (double 1's) 7. Read a book that has a house on the cover, or that is related to something unique about your community (for example, if your community has a strawberry festival, read a book with strawberries on the cover).

Red Chrysanthemum (Sano Ichiro, #11) - Laura Joh Rowland

Finally dipping the toe in.  If i had realized I was reading book 11, I would have looked for book 1.  Some of the reviews indicated the series started going downhill.  If the previous ones are better than this, I'll be reading them.

305 pages, $3.00

Snakes and Ladders square 100

April 27, 2019

I was waiting, but it looks like not a lot of takers for this post.  Out of 10 votes, it's 7 for Dragons of Winter Night and 1 each for the other three.

I'm almost done with my current book, so I'll leave the final count til then, but it looks like we have a winner!

The Postman

 Dragons of Winter Night

The Dragon and the Raven

Make Room! Make Room!

That was fun!

Spot and Smudge (Spot and Smudge #1) - Robert Udulutch

If highly unbelievable.

Although, if you can believe a smart as a human golden retriever was created through gene splicing (the Watcher) I suppose quick mutations during gestation and early growth from purple toxic sludge isn't too far fetched.

I will definitely be checking out book 2.

Taking a break, and a question for a librarian.

Spot and Smudge (Spot and Smudge #1) - Robert Udulutch

After the Varney fiasco, I'm taking a break before letting you guys pick my next book.  LOL

However, I have a question for a librarian about adding books.

This one wasn't listed, even though I'm fairly certain I came across it here.

If it's a self published book, who do I put in as the Publisher if there's no publisher listed?

The author, or Amazon Digital Services LLC ?
