I'm not a huge fan of ghost stories or haunted houses, but this was intense in a slow burn sort of way. Keeping you on edge the whole time without letting you realize you're really scared.
I was finishing it last night, all the action was over, we're into the wrap up and the boy comes into the room and asks me if I want to watch a movie. I screamed and jumped so hard if my chair hadn't had arms I would have fallen. He says I read to many horror stories. I told him there's no such thing.
